Russell and I met while attending college at the University of Florida. We had talked to each other throughout the semester and finally started dating the week of Russell's graduation. Yes, Russell was graduating that week and the next month moving out to Texas for his career and yet we still decided to go for it. It was one of the moments where we both knew right away this was something different. And we were right. We both fell quickly for each other and a year later Russell proposed on a gorgeous snowcapped mountain.
A year after the proposal, on August 3, we were blessed to have a beautiful wedding in Austin, Texas with all of our friends and family. Last month Russell and I celebrated our first anniversary. I can't believe it has already been a year but it was a perfect year. With a lot of highs and some lows we are learning and growing every day. Marriage is definitely not easy but well worth every effort and I am so blessed to continue this love story.
